The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) seeks to promote the peaceful use of nuclear energy and to inhibit its use for military purposes. Though established independently of the United Nations under its own international treaty (the IAEA Statute), the IAEA reports to both the General Assembly and the Security Council and has become vitally import in current non-proliferation and arms control efforts. |

Registration for the 2010 conference is now open. Schools that register during our priority registration period receive special discounted rates, and are eligible to enter our upcoming country/committee lottery. If you have any questions about registering for CIMUN, please contact us.

We are pleased to announce that CIMUN is now accepting staff applications for our 2010 conference. Last year, CIMUN attracted 87 staff members from 26 different universities around the world, and featured a staff-to-delegate ratio of 7 to 1, among the lowest of any major conference.
