After the era of Nikita Khrushchev, Leonid Brezhnev led the Soviet Union as the longest serving General Secretary of the Communisty Party. During the second era of his reign, Brezhnev was in constant conflict with the West and also played a part in international diplomatic developments including the invasion in Afghanistan. At CIMUN 2009, delegates will play the role of crucial members of Brezhnev's inner circle.

Staff Applications Open

We are pleased to announce that CIMUN is now accepting staff applications for our 2010 conference. Last year, CIMUN attracted 87 staff members from 26 different universities around the world, and featured a staff-to-delegate ratio of 7 to 1, among the lowest of any major conference.
