Only a year after the Islamic Revolution, and less than one year from the seisure of the US Embassy in Tehran, the Islamic Republic of Iran faces grave challenges in its early growth and development. With a the domestic Sharia programs underway, Iran is under dire threat from invaders to the West, Saddam Hussein and the full assult of the Iraqi military machine, and their backers selected parts of the Arab League, and the United States. Delegates will assume the roles of the Islamic Republic's inner policy making circle and defend its borders.

Staff Applications Open

We are pleased to announce that CIMUN is now accepting staff applications for our 2010 conference. Last year, CIMUN attracted 87 staff members from 26 different universities around the world, and featured a staff-to-delegate ratio of 7 to 1, among the lowest of any major conference.
