Interactive Committees
Model UN is a Team Activity

One of MUNDO's core-innovations has been integrating events and actions of delegates across the all the committees. With fully integrated committees, decisions made and resolutions passed in one committee affect the decision making process of the entire simulation.
All committees operate not only operate in real time, but “running time.” When making decisions in committee, delegates must consider their work in a global context, taking into account actions of other committees as well. As a result, delegates are encouraged to act and react as a team - as a national delegation with representation across a number of commitees, each with a different authority and jurisdiction.
In effect, delegates operate in a simulated environment - a microcosm of what international relations is really about. The goal for delegations is to maintain a consistent policy and strategy across a number committees, even in face of the changes in the simulated political environment.
The best head delegates are able to coordinate their delegation's policy and progress across a number of committees to pursue national priorities.
