Financial Policy and Fees
CIMUN program fees are offered as a package for both students and faculty. In order to secure the most competitive rates, all fees and arrangements for hotel room accomodations are handled through us. Please feel free contact us with any questions or requests for clarification of our financial policy.
Current Fees Consist of the Following Four Elements:
1. Country registration fee:
$75 per country (for the first 3 countries)
All countries thereafter are free
2. Delegate Package:
This per student fee includes:
- Conference participation and materials
- Banquet dinner on thursday night
- Hotel accomodations for the nights of the December 9, 10, and 11, 2010
Priority Registration - Your school registers for CIMUN before Sept 30, 2010
$300 per delegate
Regular Registration - Your school registers for CIMUN after Sept 30, 2010
$325 per delegate
3. Faculty Advisor Package:
The following rates reflect 3 nights hotel room, banquet and other food and beverage, and a nominal conference fee.
$600 per standard advisor room needed (king and double rooms available)

Additional nights can be available for an additional charge.
4. Empty bed fee
As much of our contract with the hotel is negotiated as room nights, each room that does not have 4 students must incur a $140 charge, per each empty slot in the room. This fee can be waved if you allow us to room your remaining students with those from another school. We prefer to room students by school, though in order for us to remain cost effective, we must enforce this fee. Thank you for your understanding.
CIMUN Fee Due Dates:
Country registration fees - for the first 3 country assignments is due within 30 days after assignments have been made. After the first 3 countries, all additional assignments are free.
Delegate and Faculty fees - due by 1 November 2010. All late submissions will incur a $50 late assessment per week. It is important for us to receive all payments on time for us to pay our vendors. Thank you very much for your cooperation!
Cancellations and Refunds:
Any changes to delegate or faculty numbers must be made by 1 November 2010. After this date, no refunds will be made.
Payment Method:
We accept payment by check and all major credit cards. All checks must be made out "Model United Nations Development Organization" or "MUNDO." Credit card payments will be subject to an additional processing fee.

CIMUN VII Registration is Now Open!

Registration for the 2010 conference is now open. Schools that register during our priority registration period receive special discounted rates, and are eligible to enter our upcoming country/committee lottery. If you have any questions about registering for CIMUN, please contact us.

We are pleased to announce that CIMUN is now accepting staff applications for our 2010 conference. Last year, CIMUN attracted 87 staff members from 26 different universities around the world, and featured a staff-to-delegate ratio of 7 to 1, among the lowest of any major conference.
